FRIEDE GOLDMAN CHINA LTD. (FGC) is a joint venture company newly created by FRIEDE & GOLDMAN LTD. (F&G) and CHINA SHIP DESIGN & RESEARCH CENTER CO., LTD. (CSDC). F&G, based in Houston, Texas, USA, is the world leader in design of Mobile Offshore Drilling Units. F&G has over 60 years of design experience with a strong client base and a multitude of projects. CSDC was established within China Shipbuilding Industry Corp. (CSIC) as an innovative technology platform of civil ship design with the goal of becoming the strongest and most advanced design & research engineering company in the industry.
The FGC office is located in the downtown of Dalian, China. FGC has immediate opening for full-time experienced and entry-level engineers in various disciplines in design of semi-submersible type and jack-up type drilling rigs and other offshore floating structures.
Basic qualifications:
• BS degree in naval architecture & ship design, ocean engineering, petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering or other related engineering fields
• Shipbuilding or offshore drilling industry experience is preferred
• Proficiency in English，both spoken and written
• Familiar with MS office software and AutoCAD
